software industry career expected

As I completed my Pre-University education and I decided to pursue Under Graduation in Computer Science & Engineering at UVCE, Bangalore which is one of the oldest and premier college in India, my interest in computers dates back to my school days.

During final year my project was Automated Build Analysis which is used for porting of software from one platform to another. The project analyzes various libraries involved in the Build process irrespective of the build system used and builds a dependency tree. In third year I was involved in designing a Stock Market Analysis tool for the novice traders to analyse the market data over any period of time using Graphical User Interface (GUI) system and I was also involved in developing peer-to-peer chat and file transfer client system for college wide implementation, it is during this project I developed a strong interest in computer networks and system programming.

Apart from academic activities I was an IEEE branch volunteer and was involved in organizing various events and workshops. I have conducted seminars and workshops on Open-Source technologies in various colleges across Bangalore to create awareness. I have won prizes in quizzing and paper presentation competition in inter-college competitions.

I believe Post Graduation will give me opportunity deepen my knowledge and open up research avenues in the areas of my interest and will also aid me in career in research in software industry.
