THESIS: Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres forever changed the place of man in the cosmos. It was important shift in astrology movement, but the importance of Copernicus work was not simply that he got it right, but that the truth he revealed allowed scientists to make accurate calculations.

I.Renaissance was a time during when new ideas in art, astronomy, science, literature, mathematics, philosophy, religion, and politics were developed and advanced by a few individuals who changed the views of many little things as well of those not so little such as our Universe.

A. Nicolai Copernicus was the one who gave new point of view of our Universe.

B. Copernicus work is know as a Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres and proved that Sun was the one that was the center of the Universe

C. Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres changed the place of man in the cosmos.

D. It was a starting point in Scientific Revolution that reveled the truth about the Universe and profoundly influenced among others.

So have you ever wondered who was the first one to propose the idea of a sun-centered universe? Well, during the 1400s and 1500s in mainly Italy there was a major change that took place in all aspects of life. This was called the Renaissance and was a cultural movement that helped give rebirth to many aspects of intellectual inquiry such as to classical learning, arts, philosophy, politics, religion as well change the views of the earth and the Universe.

The answer is Nicolai Copernicus, "the man who moved the earth and stopped the sun".
He shifted away from the Ptolemaic model, which postulated the Earth at the center of the universe, towards the heliocentric model with the sun at the center of our Solar System. He was the one that claimed that the sun was the center of the Universe and all the planets revolved around it. This theory is known as The Copernican Heliocentric or simply Copernican Theory, and his work, The Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres, forever changed the place of man in the cosmos. It was one of the starting points of the Scientific Revolution, very important shift in astrology movement, but the importance of his work was not simply that he got it right, but that the truth that it revealed allowed scientists to make accurate calculations, as well profoundly influenced among others.
