Statistics and Help for CRP (dissertation) - people with HIV and AIDS in USA

I am having a hard time understanding the way the CDC presents statistics. I am trying to determine how many children are currently living in the United States with HIV. Then how many are living with AIDS as seperate statistics. Can any one help. ALso My chairperson says my writing is poor.
