Graduate / SOP for MSc IN manufacturing ENGINEERING in UK [6]

Hi
Please help me out wth my SOP. i dont know if it is good enough.

As a boy I was always spellbound by the contribution of science and technology to our lives and the way they affected our living, which inspired me to take up engineering as my field for graduation. I was always passionate about fast moving cars and gigantic machines and always wanted to know them better. The reason for this was lot of maths and physics came to application. My physics sir, Mr. Kingsley Selveraj was my main motivation. My Physics lecturer (with British Honors) made our classes really interesting and physics seemed to me like never before. He always tried to focus on concepts involved in Physics and its application in every chapter that he taught. . This was the time when I said "this is it! I have figured out, what I want to do ahead in life". This was the time when I started thinking about engineering where physics and maths comes into application. Mechanical engineering was the perfect road for me and this is where my journey began.

My principal, Dr. Joseph Gonsalves has been my lecturer and project guide during my graduation. A true genius in the field of advanced design and manufacturing. My project deals with a device called homogeniser which improves the efficiency and reduces the emission of a 4-stroke petrol engine. The device (homogeniser) was designed by my principal and is a cutting-edge technological invention. I and my group conducted the required tests and did a lot of research which helped me to know this device better and helped me a lot to work as a team.

During my graduation days, I found the modules related to manufacturing very conceptual. The best part of manufacturing is that I could actually visualize everything in it. I began to feel the magic of manufacturing while I was working in the workshop, whether it was working on the lathe or doing foundry and forging work. I slowly started wondering if they could be made faster and better. This developed keen interest in me into subjects like manufacturing processes, quality control, rapid prototyping, computer integrated manufacturing etc. In addition to this, I had also taken up my seminar on robotic welding which gave me an insight on computer integrated manufacturing. I would like to pursue my post-graduation in the specialised manufacturing fields like Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Machining; Manufacturing Processes; Manufacturing Systems; Manufacturing Management; Manufacturing Automation; Manufacturing Metrology and Machine Tool Performance in a committed manner and I am confident of contributing considerably to the growth of this field. The thought of pursuing an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Maintenance Engineering at this stage seems to be the most logical next step towards building the blocks for my future endeavors. It also enlivens me to think that the MSc in UK will provide me with International exposure and I believe is a necessity.

I have varied interests and am very devoted to the idea of giving something back to society. This is why I was an active member of the National Social Service and have participated in a Blood Donation Camp and also worked on a tree plantation, in addition to other community services. During my undergraduate studies, I was a member of the Mechanical Engineering Student Association and this gave me a chance to showcase my talents like singing and photography. I feel that participation in these extracurricular activities have also helped me to discover myself and my interests.
