Essays / Tricky structure: comparing 40 articles from 3 Newspapers over 3 days. [3]
I'm posting this because the Assignment outline isn't specific or very helpful, and I can't contact anyone who can help me right now.
This is not an essay.
I have 40 articles from 3 newspapers over the course of 3 days. Each one is relevant to the floods in Queensland, Australia: namely, how our Prime Minister is going to (well, has already) deal with the cost of rebuilding.
My task is to:
a) Compare and contrast the coverage within each of the three papers.
b) Compare and contrast the different papers with each other.
the comparisons will be about coverage, angles, tones, opinions, accuracy and so on.
I've read and summarized each article, but my issue is how to structure my response.
The combination of possible comparisons include the factors of time (because the articles were written directly after the announcement of the Flood Package, and discussion developed over those three days.) My head is in a spin...
How would you go about this?
(oh, and it hinted that a simple chronological structure wasn't a good idea)
