Are increasing the price of gasoline and electricity best way to encourage people to conserve ?
Some things are essential for leading a decent life that no one can live without it. This essentials list is proliferated on a daily basis with lots of technological improvement. Few decades ago, gasoline and electricity were not in the essentials list as people had managed to live without it and had lead a comfort life without any compromise. Once a material accrued into the essentials list automatically its demand gets increased and its source gets deteriorated, and that eventually makes the rulers to impose some methods to conserve the product. Increasing the product price is one such method to conserve it.

Society is a mix of affluent, middle class, and poor peoples. The consumption of electricity and gasoline vastly varies between different classes of people and this becomes the deciding factor on whether a method introduced to conserve it will work or not.

When the wealthy people are concered, their luxury lifestyle highly demands for even non-essential things. Then it is quiet understandable to know how much essentential things such as electricity and gasoline are required in their life. Is money a constraint for them to get the essential things? No, even they are the people who spend more for their pet's food than the money spent for the electricity.

It is not fair to talk about the poor people who actually beseeches for getting their daily food. But the majority of the population are filled with middle class people who actually draws a budget for every month on spending money for various needs which includes electricity and gasoline. These people are going to be the real sufferers when the price is increased. But they cannot limit their use as they are already leading a planned non-luxurious life, rather they will try to adjust this cost in some non-essential things they may need.

In my opinion, it is a bad decision to increase the price of essential items such as electricity and gasoline in order to conserve the same.

Below is the topic of the essay. I am not sure about the way I started the essay by saying "I strongly agree". Please let me know your views about it and comments about the essay also.

Do you agree or disagree that "some people buy product not because they want, but because other people use it"?

I strongly agree that some people buy some products without their actual need of them, but just because other people use it. Some people have the habit of searching in the internet "What is the today's hot product?" while some people have the habit of going to their neighbor's house to find out the product which they bought recently. eventually, the aim is to get the product which other people bought, no matter whether it is useful or not.

I know a girl who spends her money lavishly for getting some new things every week. Her name was Brenda. Every time I look at her new things, I felt familiar about the product. But I am sure that is a new product. Yes it had the price tag on it for the first day she uses it. Sometimes I felt crazy about myself for not remembering about the product she had bought recently. But one day, I had a casual chat with her. She was wearing a black long coat which she bought in the last weekend shopping. The coat was amazing but it doesn't suit her well since she was a bit short and primarily it is not needed here in a place where sun boils the blood. I asked her, "Where you bought this coat?". Sometimes, girls talk so lengthily that no one can stop them. She said the complete story of how she made her mind to buy that from the inspiration of a tall American girl named Linda who is actually in a cold place where she needs that kind of long coat. Oops! I got it now, the bag she bought last week was like the bag that Katherine had and the ear ring was like Bruno's. Brenda felt so bad as many of her friends already told her that the coat doesn't look good for her. She would have been looked better in a short sleeve coat which is actually required for this climate. I too felt sorry about her and went home early.

The following week, I happen to meet her again with a new leather jacket which was hanging on her arm. Why cannot she wear it? I hope everyone knows the answer. Yes, there are people who are willing to buy things just because others are having it, no matter they hang the product in their arms or in their terrace without using it.

Topic: By punishing murderers with the death penalty, society is also guilt of committing murder. Therefore, life in prison is a better punishment for murderers.

How to Punish Murderers

"An for an eye will make the whole world blind", stated by Mahatma Gandhi. If I start with this statement, does it mean that I am going to support his quote? No, not necessarily. Because I believe that the eye we are going to take out is worthless seeing this beautiful world anymore. A punishment given to an accused should scare others from committing the mistake again.

Every person has his/her own reasons for the crime he/she has committed. Especially the murderers will have their own framed/unframed set of scene flow. So it is worthless to talk about the reasons for a murder. But it is worth mentioning about the murderer's status before discussing about the punishment. A murderer can be poor person with no one to care for him/her or a murderer can be an aristocrat with superior powers in the society.

Consider, if both kinds of a murderers are produced in front of the jury and say that the jury has sentenced a life time imprisonment for both of them. The indigent person will be in prison for his/her whole life as per the order of the jury. Because there will be no one to claim for him/her for another time to prove he is framed to be a murderer even if he is not. But in the aristocrat's case, it is totally different and he/she knows how to get out of the so called iron gates. After all, he/she has ample amount of time (Life time) to think of eschewing out of the prison. From a pedestrian's perspective, the moral is "Commit a murder if you are a solvent with aristocratic power".

On the other hand, Imagine about sentencing to death for a murderer. This time, both the kinds of murderers will be treated in the same way. The whole world will speak about it and definitely it will be an eye opener and not an eye remover. Now a common question from all directions will come, "What if a murderer is actually an innocent?". My forthright answer for this is "If you want to gain some thing, it is obvious you have lose something". It might be hard to digest, but it is still comestible.

"Tit for tat" is bad when taken over by everyone in the world, but worth doing by a government to make the world green again.

What is your approach to problem-solving, and how does it work for you?
Every problem will have a solution. One may solve a problem in several ways with his/her own approaches or with someone Else's approaches. Since I started feeling my responsibilities, I have been trying to solve my issues with my own approach because after all it's my problem and who knows my problem better than me?

In my early days, I used to solve my issues by discussing with my mother and follow the approach which my mother is suggesting me. It worked well in my early days. One day, When my childhood friend stabbed me with a pencil, I wanted to take revenge on him by doing some nasty stuff to him. But as per my mother's advice I did not react immediately, rather I complained about my friend to my mother in the conventional way as every human being would do in his/her childhood days. Then I will follow what my mother says. But as days move on, I started feeling responsible about myself and started facing the problems on my own.

My best way of approaching a problem is what I call as "Think about the worst effect". When I get a problem, I will first think about the various ways to solve that problem. Then I will start pondering aobut the corresponding effects of those solutions beginning with the worst. For example, if I get low ratings in my appraisal for the past year in spite of my sincere work for which I dedicated my heart and soul, then immediately I would think of rising a flag against my manager's ratings. How to rise a flag? One probable solution is to gather all the points to justify I have worked more than expected and speak to my manager to revise my ratings. In this case, what will be the worst effect I could receive? The maximum, my manager can do is that he can terminate me for arguing with him. Since I believe that I have the potential to get a new job with my expertise, I will be ready to face the worst effect. As I am ready to accept the worst, I will go to my manager with all my points to revise my ratings and hope for the best, without fearing about the worst.

In my opinion, if you are ready to face the worst, you will be delighted to receive the best and you will never regret about your approach.
