Scholarship / software engineering objectives study essay for a scholarship [3]

Now, I am working as a charge in computer lab in University xxxxxxx- Agriculture College. I teach the students general and basic things about internet and computer. I am trying to make them know how to use the computer in their major. I think I have made some progresses in. The students have started to be more dependent on computers. However, I am very interested to teach in the university. I appreciate this job and I look forward to improve it throughout building a strong academic background which could help me to achieve my ambitions. I am dreaming to teach network security, or programming languages like C, C++, and PHP, and write academic researches about that. All these ambitions will not be achieve unless I have a powerful educational background. Getting master degree in United States, which has the best top ranked university in the world, is the best solution to make my dream come true. In addition, there are many reasons which deter me to pursue my master study here, in Iraq. The first and important one that my undergraduate college does not grant master degree. The second reason is that I have strong faith about getting the best education of computer engineering field in USA universities.

Pursuing my master degree study in US will give me a chance to eliminate the insufficient self-confidence that I am facing now. It restrains me to put the solutions for many problems. Some solutions need deep knowledge and background about devices that I have not seen in my undergraduate study. As all we know that computer engineering needs us pressingly to be up to date with the new information because there are numerous progresses every day. I still need to enhance my education continuously to cop this rapid development.

Like any country in the world, the demand of computer engineering has become very important recently. Actually, This demand cannot be filled because the field needs more development support. For instance, at my work place, are there many technological things need to be changed and fixed. They are using old techniques which affects negatively on the performance. All these problems need to be solved and the computer technological development must intervene to stop the messy work.

When I finished my junior year, I accepted for an internship in a reputable networking management company, Alnabaa. That helps me a lot to improve my networking security skills and troubleshoot many problems. The internship let successfully to part time job as a network administrator assistant in small ISP Company. I could find a solution to Mikrotik hotspot server problem which the registration to the network was depending on Mac address of wireless card which it can be change. I set up PPPoE server to eliminate this problem and made only authorized user enter network. The limited internet bandwidth was another problem in the network. As we could not increase the bandwidth due to the bad internet service in entire country, I suggested building a powerful cash server. That happened by using Lunix Slackware OS. It was really helpful to speed up internet.

I wanted to apply my security and web design skills in my senior year project. In the same time, I was looking for drawing attention to something that I like it to be widespread in my country. It was e-commerce website. I have designed a powerful website which offers the merchandise dynamically. I used PHP server-side language and connected the registration form and cart page to the SQL database. I used a special function in PHP to validate visa card number. The amount of many and Visa card data will also transfer to the assumption bank website which checks the validity of the data. All passwords and data were encrypted by SSL and MD5.

After I come to Iraq with master degree in software engineering, I think I will be full with enthusiasm and educational ability. First thing that I will do is teaching in computer Science College. I want to change many things which are falling behind. For instance, the electronic library and online admission should be applied there. This degree will qualify and spur me to get CCNP instructor certification and teaching in Cisco lab in the college. . I am totally sure master degree will put my foot on the right track to achieve my academic drems.
