American former president Ronald Regan once said, "Judge a person from how he eats jellybean". Obviously, it is not to say that jellybean is that difficult to eat. What Regan addresses is the importance of judging a person from how he eats the jellybean, weather to eat once at a time or to put a bunch of them in mouth. In a larger sense, how to eat jellybean represents a man's external appearance, which provides important clues about a person.

How people dress reflects their personal interests and their way of expressing themselves. Dressing in red, in most of the cases, means that the man is in a happy mood. Dressing in black, on the other hand, shows that he is kind sad or have something serious to do. Furthermore, it usually pleases the audience if a man dresses neatly, and thereby people would feel fond of him. A counter example is Albert Einstein. Seldom did he dress seriously in public occasions. Were not because of his great achievement in modern physics, he would have been probably disgusted by his peers.

Seen from the quotation from Regan, a person's eating manner also shows his or her personality. It's common to see those people who eat fast have a bad temper while those who chew slowly seldom lose their patience. In the movie "King's speech", the queen of George IV told her sons not to speak while eating. Talking while eating is not a big deal to many people, to the best lowers the speed of digesting. However, keeping quiet at the dining table reflects the English House's good manner, even in some private occasions, which is the reason how the House still keeps the dignity even though it don't have any real power.

Paying attention to a man's external appearance is a good way to get known him. His thinking and action has already been unintentionally concentrated in his outside looking. Once we start to notice how people dress and how they eat, we can perceive a man's real personality.
