Undergraduate / A new chapter in my life and a new beginning to my future - attending at AII-SD (Art) [NEW]
The application's essay for the Art Institute is
"How do you expect your education at The Art Institute to help you attain your career goal?"
but I wasn't too sure of my answer and need help. is there anything that I should include, take out, fix?
any feedback would be awesome and greatly appreciated, Im dying here..
After graduating from high school, I decided to attend a community college right after. I was eager to learn and get started with my future, yet the need to help my family financially forced me to start working a full time and part time job, making little to no time at all to spend at school. My goal of graduating college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality - Food and Beverage Management, and obtaining the career of my dreams seemed to slowly disappear and impossible at this point to achieve. Quite too often I caught myself thinking of the endless possibilities I could have if only I would be attending school and pursuing my dream.
It wasn't that long ago that I learned about The Art Institute of California - San Diego and its offers. Automatically, it brought a new sense of hope in my life, realizing that the opportunity I was searching for was closer than I thought. Yet hope isn't enough. I know that my life goals will only be achieved by going back to school which is exactly what I plan on doing if given the opportunity. I want to not only feel self accomplished, but really go out into this world and show that I have potential to be successful, and not just part of a statistic of those who never make it in life. If given the opportunity, not only would this be a life changing experience, but the chance of a lifetime to learn about what this field has to offer. Education in this field that I plan on learning from professors who are experienced or currently working in the field. I understand that Hospitality is diverse and businesses such as casinos, resorts, hotels, and restaurants are few job options at locations around the world to choose from. But this isn't enough. I want to know more and learn so I can be the best there is to be.
I believe that by attending to The Art Institute of California - San Diego, not only would I be entering a new chapter in my life but, but a new beginning to my future. I am a strong and passionate about this field and I am ready to commit with my education and strongly willing to participate in whatever programs and activities which are needed to complete my goals in the Institute. I am ready to give it my all that I have because I truly believe this will be the stair to live the life I dream of one day having. After much research done, and from my understanding, it seems as though I can attain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality - Food and Beverage Management within three years. With this being said, I am ready to be part of The Art Institute of California - San Diego community and what it has to offer.
