Speeches / Presentation on Pepsi advert speech [2]

"Examine and analyse a piece of sports media. Utilizing themes and content from the course, deconstruct and critically analyse the impact of your choice on the audience."

I have to do a presentation/speech on the above - i was hoping that somebody could provide some assistance. The themes/concepts that I will talk about are National Identity, Globalisation (local/global) and celbrity endorsement and will use a Pepsi commercial that was used at the 2006 World Cup featuring Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Nesta, Lampard. Ive been advised to do a (sociological) figurational approach to deconstructing the advert but not sure how to go about this? Any help would be much obliged!

Essays / Help with Globalisation of Sport Essay... [2]

Hello,
I am currently trying to write an essay on globalisation of sport - the full question is:
"Modern sport and the media have developed simultaneously and symbiotically, supplying each other with the necessary resources for development: capital, audiences, promotion and content." Critically discuss this statement in relation to the changing nature of professional sport in the UK. (2000 words)

As you can see it is a rather long-winded question and I'm not sure how to approach it in terms of structure and content such as examples. I would really appreciate some help/insight or any ideas?
