The biological effects of alcohol has affected a person's mental satus, job performance and mood. Alcoho is toxic to the human body and, if you digest enough alcohol, it can be deadly. Many people have heard of alcohol related disorders such as alcohol abuse and alcohol dependance (Relyea 1). Alcohol is a drug that depresses the central nervous system but, is not a stimulant. The effect of alcohol is to slow down brain activity that is very harmful (Dunlap 1).
