It is my pleasure to have this opportunity to support jack Smith for your program.
As a drawing/painting instructor at school City College, I had known Jack the first day he attended classes at school City College. He has taken only one class with me, but we have maintained contact through discussions in my office.

I have been extremely impressed with both jack's enthusiasm and technical ability.
In my ten years of teaching I have known other students with talent equivalent to jack's, however, many of them lacked his level of commitment and dedication in class. Jack has an extremely sound work ethic and is hard working when it comes to his art. He is a dedicated student and thus far his grades in his studio classes have been exemplary. I feel confident that he will continue to succeed in his future studies.

Jack Smith has worked hard to hone his foundational skill sets to execute his vision.
In the beginning his work was not noticeable, however, as the semester progressed I was impressed by his practice because his work greatly demonstrated his ability to keenly observe surroundings and convey it onto a two-dimensional surface. His work has become more focused over the year he has been with us. What he needs now is the kind of exposure, which he will get at the Strathmore Art College program.

Please give Jack's application serious consideration. My recommendation comes without reservation. He will be an asset to the program there, and it is an excellent fit for both parties. Do not hesitate to contact me directly should you wish further information.
