'to light up Uganda using clean energy' why i wish to pursue masters & plans [3]
Ive written a brief statement for Masters in sustainable energy engineering program im not sure if its good enough. Please help me review it

My interests in power and more importantly renewable energy stems from solving the problem of having a hot water shower in the village 17 years ago without using electricity. This problem was solved using a solar hot water bag and most recently we added solar panels to generate 60 watts for lighting and small power usage.
My goal is to light up Uganda using clean energy. Currently its very costly for individuals or the government to connect homes in the villages and small towns to the grid. I believe the way forward is to use stand alone sources of energy. On a larger scale i am working for a geothermal firm who's goal is to provide enough steam to generate 3,000MW.
I was excited about the Master's program xxxx as it features various segments of renewable energy and offers courses that will further cement my knowledge in geothermal energy development. I believe that the exposure i will get at your facility and the interaction i will have with renowned faculty will help develop my knowledge and potential. I will also take away a network of strong green energy minded teachers and fellow students.
After graduation i will return back to my job at geothermal firm and use the knowledge to assist geothermal firm achieve its goals in a more efficient and effective manner. In the future i see myself involved in research into providing stand alone sources of energy at an affordable price for the regular Ugandan people and also into well head power generation. I will bring back the expertise gained and use it to power Uganda with green energy.
I hope my background and qualifications are found suitable for admission to M.S program at XXX.
