The graph shows sales in thousands of cigarettes in Tobado from 1994 to 2010, with a prediction to 2020. Overall, there was an upward trend in sales. Although the sales is expected to decline by 2020
In the first four years, the sales fluctuated around 190 thousand cigarettes. In 1998, President of Tobado died of lung cancer. This caused a significant fell in sales and bottomed out at about 100 thousand cigarettes. Since then, the sales rose slightly and remained stable at almost 125 thousand cigarettes. From 2003 to 2005, a top model endorsed for cigarette company. Consequently, sales soared and reached a peak at over 250 thousand cigarettes. The sales stagnated at the top for two years, but then the number of cigarettes sold plunged quickly to nearly the level before rising. This was caused by the cigarette advertising model developed lung cancer. In 2007, there was a marginal grew followed by a period of stability. It is predicted that the sales will decrease by approximately a third by 2020.
