I think you should talk about what about the college interested you, not the events that took place with your friend. The part about him being optimistic about the college is good but tell them what was so great about it that he was optimistic about drake

Undergraduate / Stockton Application Essay - 'my main priority' [2]
There has never been a day where a thought about my future has not once crossed my mind. I have accomplished many goals in my life, but now my main priority is being accepted to Stockton College. I strongly believe that Stockton will have a huge impact on my future. My main goal in life is to go to Stockton for their pre-vet program, and move on to Graduate school. My dream is to be a Veterinarian. I have always wanted to do something in the medical field, and my love for animals helped me decide what I wanted to do in life. I definitely know that Stockton will help me pursue my dream.
While researching information about Stockton, I stumbled upon some information on the pre-vet undergraduate program that comforted me in my decision for applying there. I am always looking far into my future and constantly setting goals for myself. So when I read that a very large amount of Stockton graduates get accepted to graduate school, I felt an overwhelming amount of confidence in the college. Being on a smaller campus with smaller classes will give me more one-on-one time with the professors so I can learn to the best of my best abilities. My voice will be heard and I will physically be able to have a more hands-on experience.
As of right now I am undecided on what I want to major in whether it may be in biology, or chemistry. Stockton will provide helpful insight on what major will suit my interest. The thought of going to Stockton brought on such excitement about going to college. I never thought the day would come where I would actually be getting the chance of pursuing a lifelong dream of mine.
Stockton does not only have the academic program that I need, but the school also offers many clubs and sports which I would love to be a part of. For instance, this coming Fall Stockton is adding a women's lacrosse team; lacrosse is a sport I enjoy very much. My aspirations for Lacrosse when I make the team would be to grow into a much improved player than I am now. I also aspire to be promoted to captain in my future years at Stockton College. In my spare time, I wish to organize a "Women to Men's Lacrosse Club" with a few others interested in order to let women play men's lacrosse just for pure entertainment.
Richard Stockton College is the right school for me. It has the academic program I need in order to graduate with the basis for my future job as a veterinarian, and also the extracurricular activities that I enjoy being a part of. Not only is being accepted to Stockton a huge goal of mine, but the college will ensure a successful road to graduate school, so I can follow a lifelong long dream of mine. I am confident and determined that Stockton will give me the schooling I need to build my future. More importantly, I am excited to become an intelligent young lady who will enjoy every second of going to work and seeing all the happy faces of the animals I have treated and healed, just from the boost Stockton will lend me.
