How an AUBG education will broaden your global perspective and cultivate your capacity for social responsibility

Throughout my lifetime I have always wanted to get success and make something great and valuable in my life. I understand it's easy for me to go at one of my city's universities and continue my education right here with my parents, friends and atmosphere that I know. But I think it makes my life less challenging and I wouldn't get success without being risky, opening for changes.

I think today it's really hard to get great results without making something new by getting local success every day and finding something interesting in different cultures. My best impressions about another culture are related with my exchange program in the United States of America. I met totally different people, absolutely new environment and realized that life is much more interesting when you explore others way of life, their interests, traditions and ideas. It really showed me that I'm just a part of an extraordinary life, which is much more interesting when you're able to see it.

To achieve my career goals, I need to learn much more about any technique of business, strategies of development, management and working in a team for making my own deal in a future.

I love to read books about business and stories of people who got rich and then compare their ways and find something common. It helps me build my own strategy. I also gained invaluable experience while participating on various school projects and different competitions. It has given practical skills and the confidence to tackle advanced problems. These have prepared me to handle complex problems and have given me the confidence to pursue undergraduate studies.

In addition, the experience gained while active participation in academic as well as extracurricular activities and work experience, fluency in English and Russian, participation in conferences had given me an understanding of diverse cultural aspects and parallel differences that exist between the Western and Eastern societies. Hence, through these, good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills has become among my strongest characteristics.

That's why I've decided to continue my study at AUBG, one of the best universities, that gives student opportunity to receive good education, gather experience and share it with others. This decision is one of the biggest steps in my life.

I believe the biggest advantage of AUBG is that here you don't need to choose only one major, you can do two of them at the same time and this allows you to master two professions. I think my first choice would be business administration but I have always wanted to participate in political discussions and gain some experience in international relations - the AUBG gives that opportunity for thousands of students every year.

Taking into consideration the fact that AUBG offers a unique educational experience, I believe it to be a perfect place for the continuation of my studies. Studying there will further help me enter the economic and business world as a well-rounded professional with an international experience. AUBG is one of the universities that focus on building and developing the leadership possibilities of their students. I find myself being optimistic about this university and the skills and education given there which will equip me to confidently enter the fast paced and complex business and economic world.

I look forward to applying these abilities to the immense opportunities available at American University in Bulgaria.
