Essays / Introduction for an Animal rights essay? [2]

I have to write an essay on animal rights and why I think animals should have more rights. I already wrote my outline, and I have all of my body paragraphs, I just don't know how to introduce my paper. I need something that's interesting for an introduction, but everything I write doesn't really fit my paper. Please help me write an interesting introduction! My thesis statement is something like: Animals are mistreated through many different ways and deserve the same rights we have as humans.
