Undergraduate / EXPAND MY KNOWLEDGE; CUNY LAGCC -Your reasons for transferring and the obj. [2]
My reason for transferring is to expand my knowledge in a rich environment. By transferring from CUNY LaGuardia Community College to a 4 year school I will get a chance to meet new people from all parts of the country and this plays a huge role in networking. My current experience at CUNY LAGCC was not horrible. My experience was actually a warm and informative experience. I received a taste of how college functions and also what it feels like to sit in a college course. I also received an opportunity to become a leader at CUNY LAGCC because I was able to verbalize my ideas and work throughout my classes due to the size. This leadership role I obtained gave me the upper hand in my classes where teachers seen my skill and became more comfortable with me.
I picture CUNY LAGCC as a stepping stone for a brighter future not only for myself but also my family. Throughout the course of my first semester I've cultivated into a young man that realizes what he wants in life. By expanding my knowledge in a 4 year institution I will continue to apply my leadership skill I have developed with professors and my peers.
