Need input on my working thesis; Oedipus The King

Hi, I'm having trouble developing a strong thesis and would really love some input on my working thesis's. I've never been much of a writer so any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance :D (Oedipus Rex)

What led to Oedipus's ultimate downfall was his arrogance, misguided belief in free will and his views on the supernatural.

Another idea I had for a thesis was to talk about Sophocles use of sight in the play, but couldn't think of how to word it. I also thought that I couldn't write a long essay just on one metaphor.

My last idea was on how the play demonstrated Sophocles strong religious beliefs. (Kinda Dumb :/)
