In some cases people tend to dream about thoughts that are often almost to impossible to do for certain people. Even though there dreams are way out of reach, that doesn't stop Herbert Nitsch and Dean Potter from doing what they believing in; surpassing their limits. In breathless Herbert had always dreamed about staying underwater whereas Dean's dream is to fly without a parachute not equipment attached to him. Both "Breathless" and "Icarus 2010" sends the message that even though there hobbies are completely different, they are willing to go the distance to achieve their goals without having any sort of strings attached to them.
