Undergraduate / Witnessing my father's company bankrupt; Motivation letter for master in management [3]

hi guys, have a good day... I am preparing motivation letter, please help me to check and i would like to receive your suggestions about ideas and essay organization and so on. i really appreciate your kindness... Thanks in advance:D

My name is Nguyen Kim Chi - a manager executive assistant in Indovina bank limited company. I am writing this letter to demonstrate my strong interest in Masters in Management under Eramus Mundus scholarship program.

My journey for knowledge gain starts from the early years to the university life. During my childhood, witnessing my father's company bankrupt due to the changing economy, I burned a desired that I would recover my dad's heyday and become a successful leader on the horizon.

Bearing this in mind, I was always working hard and scientifically to get profound academic background and I did obtain outstanding attainments. My high school is the most well-known one in my hometown. At the end of grade 12, I was voted to be "The best pupil of the class" by my classmates. Furthermore, I was chosen to be one of the ten pupils of Hanoi to have the right to sit the national examination for excellent pupils at Math and I got the Third Prize. Completing high school, I then condition myself to taking entrance exam into one of reputed university where I majored in international Economics. Never could I feel more provoked than these moments during which I, for the first time, faced the true-to-life issues with a legion of questions abiding for answers and triggering off risks at the same time. The finance matter used to drive my family crazily, and now I again welcome it back with knowledge and in a more macro way, though.

I was always determined to fulfill the goals I constituted, but sometimes I felt lost. And in 2007, I accidently watched Steve Jobs' commencement speech at Stanford University, the speech about life, career, devotion, love and loss was full of inspirations and ardency; the words arousing me were that "your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work". It struck me. From then on, I started questioning myself, was financial stability the only thing I wanted, what is my true passion, what I could die for, what were my strengths and weaknesses, my inclination and potentials. In order to answer these questions, I actively participated in various volunteer activities, non-government organizations such as AIESEC and Projects abroad and I organized journeys around Vietnam as a backpacker. By dint of these, I became more mature, career - oriented, organized, brave and enthusiastic. Importantly, I realized that there are a number of people living in isolated areas of Vietnam are suffering from precarious lives; their dream was nothing but full meals and sufficient clothes. Since that time, I set up my ambition of establishing an international organization aiming for social and economic development of Vietnam and other third-world countries.

Currently, I work as an assistant of Branch Manager under Indovina Bank Vietnam Limited Company. Here I was in charge of preparing analyzed reports on the bank liquidity as well as processing monetary and foreign exchange deal with other banks. Thanks to this job, I acknowledged that finance not just an individual that suffered risks to the point of abyss, but a nation can taste the unexpected and devastating troubles related to finance. I have recognized the truth that even Vietnam has been joining in international trading for long, opened the opportunities for new market, and particularly witnessed the booming of banking industry to support other sectors to develop, it has not yet a complete mechanism in managing risks in business dealings between banks and banks and entrepreneurs. Also, the study of estimating local and international risks remains quite modest and general, which explains why if a problem arises randomly, the area of finance is easily affected and opts for short-term solutions. Typical examples are cases of early demolish of stock, gold markets to stagnating real-estate.

Looking at the case of my father and the current situations of my nation, I have been driven to dig deeper into this challenging field. I strongly believe that the root for existing problems comes from the lack of careful study of markets, the lack of education for each citizen's knowledge in my nation about what is meant by risk-handling. As our admirable leader Barack Obama used to say: "With the changing economy, no one has lifetime employment. But community colleges provide lifetime employability."

Base on the above thought, I decide to further my study in an international ambiance where answers can be found. Meticulously seeking information about the program, I strongly believed the program would definitely equip me with advanced knowledge in management, international economics and law, research skills, quantitative methods and other best working chances of accumulating experiences which would be a sound foundation for me in the path of founding my own organization. I noticed that this program would provide me a macro view of the global situations, which helps me master the core of the problems of developing countries and then find the solutions to my concerns. Furthermore, law is an important factor I need master to control the performance of my company and stand firmly among difficulties and challenges I could meet in the future. During the time I am studying here, I strongly devote my passion and hope to play a part in glorifying your tradition. After finishing the program, I would challenge myself in a multi - national company in which I could practice and sharpen what I studied, research the issues of the region, acquire effective management methods and other necessary abilities. I would also continue to broaden and strengthen my social network to seek the support from the seasoned and zealous people. I hope I could learn much more to be capable of becoming an efficacious leader in the future.

To realize my plan, I do hope that I can get your financial aids to pursue my further study as a Master of strategic project management. High quality education system in Europe is what Vietnamese students need in order to make greater contribution to the wealth of my country. However, very few Vietnamese students can come to Europe to continue their studies because of financial difficulty. Scholarships delivered through governmental organizations or embassies are usually in favor of people from state companies or academic institutes and training units. Therefore, there are very few opportunities for people from private sector like me; consequently, many people have to give up their dream of studying abroad. However, not wanting to give up, I decide to find a new way for myself and for young people of my generation by asking for your aids directly. I do hope that I will succeed in getting the scholarship. Moreover, with my success, I want to persuade other Vietnamese students that if we have ability, spiritual strength, ambition, and determination, we can overcome our difficulties and create opportunities for ourselves.

In view of my academic strength and career desire, I trust that you will consider my application favorably. If you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact me or my referees whose details are listed as follows.
