My writing:
Launching a well-known website at the age of fifteen may not be a suitable goal of a schoolboy, in many people's thought. However, for me, it is never worthless to pursue the childhood dream.
It all began in January 2011 when I overcome my parents' disapproval to afford a Windows Mobile smartphone. With sheer excitement, I started discovering the new phone. Unfortunately, barely no source of knowledge for this platform can be found in Vietnamese. An idea for a website in this field started to grow. At that day, there was hardly any imagination in my mind about how I can build up a business from this.
Sharing the idea with some of my friends was the first step on the way to put my website into reality. The initial step promised a flying start for the plan as I received support from my future team-mates. Some of the technical difficulties put no hinder for the site to get online in the middle of that year.
Nevertheless, the remaining trouble was yet to come. The cost for maintaining storage service was the only thing I thought about when setting up the forum. Unfortunately, the real situation introduced more complex problems. Hardship duration come by as we had to deal with massive user increase. This seems a positive signal, let alone my work to keep the system up-to-date.
In complete contradiction to what I had imagined before, fine-tuning a single web server puzzled me right from the first step. Digging into information from the Internet only based some core knowledge, which would be insufficient to put into practice. I was left with no choice but make my own luck, risking on huge data loss. The hardship to find out the optimal solution last for several months and finally, it came the moment when the system was stabilized. The result arrived after numerous failures and gave me incomparable satisfaction.
Successfully handling those trouble was just the starting stage to build up a well-known website. But through that hardship, at least I got ready for ongoing challenges and my motivation maintained for future success. What makes I am proud of is what I experienced, not what I achieved.
