Book Reports / Antagoni establish human rights [2]
Hell, I want to write an essay about Antagoni and i dont know that my introduction part is right or wrong.because i dont know that how many line i can use to give information about the story of Antagoni ?
In the story of "Antagoni, " by Sophocles in (441 BC). The main character, Antigone, stands up for what she believes in. King Creon decreed that no one is allowed to bury Antigone's brother Polynices because he was a traitor for fighting against Thebes. Antigone defies his order because she felt like she was doing the right thing to bury her brother. And she believed to the law of god. In the story of Antagoni we faced with a conflict between religious or moral law vs. state or human. We can relate the thing which happened to Antigone to our today. Every one tries to stand up for what is right and wants to establish that. Antigone scarifies herself because of to establish the human rights and against patriarchy.
