There are various changing of patterns of dometsic access to modern technology in homes in UK. Overall trends directed upwards .CD player percentage increased steadily between 96/97 to 2002/2003.
However CD player & Home computer percentages Increased steadily between 96/97 to 2002/2003 with the former was higher percentage than the lattter . Mobile phone percentage fluctuated slightly with the trend directed upwards starting 18% in 96/97 and increased to 70% in 2002/2003.
internet access percentage increased significantly between 98/99 to 2000/2001 then increased between 2000/2001 to 2002/2003 .the overall trends provide information that internet access was late usage in homes in the UK and the other three patterns were early usage.from this chart, expectations of increasing the speed of modern technology revolution.
Although internet access is the newest pattern , it still the lowest usage in homes in UK.
home computer usage is higher than mobile phone usage in contrast mobile phone percentage increased to exceed the former between 99&2000.
