Essays / Need an interesting argumentative research paper topic (with lots research materials) [7]

I do law, so topics I would love to research on and argue would be based on the prisoners of Guantanomo Bay and the legal process/justification behind them being imprisoned. Other topics that I am also interested in is the criminal mind and whether certain types of criminals are just born to kill and harm. Cases such as the Vennables case really interests me because I cannot think why a 10 year old would kill a baby!
