It is beneficial to children's future development if parents correct their misbehaviour when they are a child. Their parents instil the standards of livings and help their children develop acceptable behaviour. For example, they teach them how to socialize and get along with other family members or neighbours in a diplomatic way. This can help them to develop a social network which might benefit them when they reach their adulthood, such as referring job opportunities.
