Undergraduate / Keen interest in embracing a holistic and well-rounded development in my student life - extra info [2]

Throughout my time in xx Polytechnic , I have display a keen interest in embracing a holistic and well-rounded development in my student life. I was able to juggle well between Co-curriculum Activity (CCA) while performing consistently well in my studies. As a result, I was able to excel with CCA grade- Gold for my active involvement and contribution throughout the 3 years.
Being an active and committed member of xx Library Club, I was part of the sub-committee during the first semester where I assumed leadership role within the committee. It provided me with ample opportunity to be part of the club's event organizing team by involving in events such as What?! Fun Fair . I would like to highlight one of the event that I was directly involved in.
*Background information about WHAT?! Fun Fair:
WHAT?! Fun Fair is the first big-scale event organized by xx Library Club and the collaboration with xx. It is an e-resources fun fair to help to raise awareness and promote about the various E-Resources (E-book etc.) that are available within xx.
I was assigned to the publicity department together with 4 other committee members to assist with the event promotion campaign. Below summarizes my responsibility and roles in the publicity team:
1) In-Charge Of Publicizing & Promoting Event using Various New Media (Facebook, Twitter)
2) In-Charge Of Filming Event promotion video clips
3) In-Charge Of Designing Event Banner, Posters & Flyers
I am glad that I have seized the opportunity to be part of the club committee member for its first major event. I enjoyed what I do and love every minute in carrying out my assigned duty to contribute in the success of the event. Witnessing a successful project at the end of the day, provide me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. The valuable knowledge and experience I have acquired from this event have been priceless and have far exceeded beyond my expectation due to the first-hand experience and involvement I was involved in starting from initial stage till the completion stage. Besides that, it also provides an ample learning opportunity platform that allows me to acquire new skills by working with different group of people from all sorts of diverse cultures and background.
My ultimate career goal is to become the next successful project and event manager who is capable of planning, managing and overseeing the construction and events for the next iconic building in Singapore. Even though, I have only acquired basic PFM foundation during my course of study at polytechnic however I believed that by enrolling into PFM degree program would allow me to achieve my dream and enable me to further broaden my horizons in the built environment industry.
