Writing Feedback / Sometimes success is harder to accept than failure. Write a Essay on it [3]

Topic 1: Sometimes success is harder to accept than failure. Write about such situation you faced when success brought its own difficulties. What brought on your success? What difficulties accompanied it? What did you learn from this?

Life brings us either failure or success. However, sometimes it is harder to accept success then failure. Most of the time, when we think about success, we ignore what success demands from us. We ignore all the responsibilities and expectations that come along with success.

Since my childhood, I was looking forward to become a doctor. It is not an easy dream to run after. My family can't afford expensive tuition fees. The only way for me to fulfill my dream was to study on scholarship. It was a time of my life when getting a scholarship was the only and most important thing in my life. I never paid attention to what that scholarship actually meant and what responsibilities I had to fulfil to remain in the scholarship program. I remembered that I always heard from my parents and other family member that it is only about getting the scholarship. They always used to encourage me to work hard for scholarship by saying, "Once you will get the scholarship and enter the program, you will become a doctor." At that time it seemed that I had to do nothing to become the doctor - just need a scholarship. But I was wrong. I managed to get the scholarship, and then realized the hardship that came along with it.

Throughout my life, I realized that I keeping running after one goal to another - after one success to another. It is a never ending race and every success leads to a more challenging goal. After getting the scholarship, I had another goal ready - maintain a high GPA to remain in the scholarship program. After Six years of coursework, I finally graduated with flying colors. Once again my success brought me under a load of responsibilities and expectations. One goal ended, leading to another.

With all the hardship, responsibilities and pressure, my success gave me one priceless thing - self-satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. On the other hand, success always increases the level of responsibility and people's expectation. People expect more and more after every success. I remembered when I brought my degree and showed to my grandpa, he instantly ask me about my future plans. He was expecting me to set a goal for specialization and start working toward it.

What I learned from my success is that success never comes without hardship and scarifies. From my life, I learned that one after another life continuously gives chances to embrace success and failure. Success gives as self-satisfaction but at the price of hardship.
