This seems like the sort of thing a Google search might help with. Try searching for 'Stone Angel symbols," and you should find plenty of sites discussing the various symbols in the novel.

Evoke your memories. The good thoughts come from your own experience.

Well, you have five symbols then, which should form a good basis for your collage. Do you have a specific number you have to find? Or can you merely elaborate on the five you already have?

We have to do a collage and write about each picture

Is this opening strong enough

The Stone Angel (underlined) by Margaret Laurence is a story about a ninety-one year old woman who is close to death who looks back at her life with little pride. She has let her life be ruled by outward appearances, even her ability to show love and happiness was compromised for fear she would be looked at as weak. Throughout the novel many images are used to help portray Hagar's character. Images such as the flowers and baby chicks depict Hagar's way of life; the stone angel symbolizes her pride, and the water and Bible reflect her struggles.

I'd say you need to add a bit more about the significance of each symbol. For instance, how does a stone angel represent pride? In what way is she made of stone? In what way can she be seen as an angel? Etc.

Should I say it about all the symbols or just the ones i mentioned in the opening statement. The rest of my essay is about what they represent so would i be repeating myself.

The idea is that you would summarize the main points in your introduction, then expand on them in the body paragraphs. You want your introduction to be a road map for the reader, so that the reader knows where you are going with your work.

How about looking up the book and searching?

Maybe that would help.
Sorry if it doesn't.

Hi Alisa! How are you? Are you an ILC student? I am also ILC's student.

Do you know what kind of question we will have in Final test? Do you have any idea about preparation for final?

If you don't mind, can i see your Unit-2 Key question? Can you send it to me.

Thanks

i am preparing for the final now

it is something like this...4 questions (paragraphs) one for each book and an essay questions about the 4 books some how. they say to really study your key question answers and support questions. there is no multiply choice questions. but all this could change. i would imagine each exam will be different for each student so no one can copy.
