Where to start? Essay on educational and career goals / achievements.

I am trying to get a scholarship for art, I have to write a 200 word essay describing my educational and career goals. I'm not really sure where to start. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me. thanks

you can start off by giving a lil details about yourself and your background (as in where you come from etc)... then tell them how those experiences shaped up your goals...

In my opinion, the best way to write your essay is starting with a small introduction, including why you want to study arts. Thus, it would be good to include personal facts that lead you into this subject.

Describe your background starting from elementary, talk about your achievements (perhaps it is good to mention that you attend to arts museums, concerts, go to an art contest, etc). Also includes description of your high school process and your extracurricular/leisure time activities (painting, singing, playing an instrument...).

You may continue with your expectations about studying arts, try to persuade the reader how important it is that you study it. Finally, please mention your ideas/goals/thoughts about your future job and projects when you finish your studies.

Try to check your essay with someone that you consider who have good writing skills to help you organize the ideas.

You have to start by establishing some goals.

If you had some clear goals, this would be easy.

So, read some biographical info about some artists whose processes are appealing to you, and think about what your goals should be. This essay is going to be very meaningful.

But if you do not do what is necessary, there is no hope! No goals, no hope.

I think as for career goals. It would be good to imagine what you hope to achieve in 10 years time and talk about developing your own career masterplan to realise your goal. Whatever you are doing now and hope to do, should be geared towards that goal. So that the one reading your essay knows that you have a PLAN for yourself.

I would write about the work you have recently done, that applies to the field you intend on studying. No bullets, I would write in essay format-- intro, body, conclusion. Introduce with a short explanation of who you are, where you come from, and what your passion is, in regards to the subject you are interested in. How does your past/current work experience effect your current situation? Anything extra special about the work you do? What have you learned, and how have you improved as a person because of these jobs? Tell about any special achievements, awards, or if you made a difference in your community or in somebody's life. Be specific if you can. Conclude by stating how your work experience has led you to seek higher education. State your short term and long term goals, and explain that a college degree will be exactly what you need to achieve your life plan. Not a student still need help with writing my career goals. Where to start?

I have been with my current employer for 12 years and interviewed with a new company. I was asked to write my career goals. Where do I start after 12 years with one company?? The position was very exciting and something I was interested in but faultered on this question.

Simple, your 12 years of experience grew bigger goals that you can find at the new cmplany
