WE LIVE IN A GLOBAL AND DIVERSE SOCIETY. EXPLAIN HOW YOUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT PREPARES YOU FOR THE FUTURE IN THIS COMPLEX WORLD. (MAXIMUM 1500 CHARACTERS)

I needed a bit of help writing this question and did not know where to start. What are some examples that I could maybe talk about?

Think of yourself as say, a Native American / American Indian. Imagine being raised on a conservation camp with a totally different social structure and belief system from what lies beyond the confines of your community. What makes you special in that sense? The diversity comes from the way you were raised differently. Yet, this difference is what has prepared you face the world outside. Community involvement could come from how your community taught you how to interact with the White people (for example). What difficulties often transpired and how did you overcome it as a community and as an individual? That experience would respond to the question about how you learned to deal with and prepared you for future interactions (with people of diverse backgrounds) within our present complex world.
