Please give me your view on following SOP for the Ph D (Chemical Engg) admission

Process equipment design is an important area in chemical engineering. Almost all manufacturing processes are not complete without a heat transfer operation. Heat is nothing but money. That's why saving heat is saving money. Most of the time design of heat transfer equipments is based on old empirical equations which are specific to operating conditions and geometry. These equipments have there own limitations which forces designer to consider factor of safety during design, this leads to overdesigning of equipment. Therefore there is large scope available in this area.
Over the period, I found that I can make progress in my academic career only if I could keep myself updated with advancement in chemical engineering. And this can be achieved only through research. This will also be helpful to my students as only updated teacher can make his student competitive in present world. Pursuing Ph.D. will not only help me but also increase the standards of my institute.
In present world computer is an integral part of the life. It helps us to progress at higher speed. Artificial Neural Network is one of the upcoming areas which can be applicable for almost all the fields. So I think integrating heat transfer with the area like Artificial Neural Network may give us beneficial future. Meanwhile I have designed the exchangers, evaporators for equipment manufacturing company using computer software and my own developed codes. I look forward positively for my contributions towards research in this field will bring some outcome that will help the society to progress.
