Hello Everyone,
I have written my graduation thesis abstract initially in French but I need to provide a version in English as well. Would you please help me to review it ? Please inform me of your thoughts, suggestions and opinions, thank you. (Ahmed).

In this period of increased vulnerability to flooding of our country, there is a strong social demand to prevent and predict these natural disasters that pose serious human and economic problems. To minimize the effects of extreme wet weather and help protect the population against flooding caused by these rains; we need to have tools for forecasting and operational reliability.
In this context, this project aims to develop a computer application-based GIS to the Hydrometeorological prediction taking great XXX Basin as a pilot-basin. The system aims to provide the information needed to understand the structure of the watershed and anticipate the knowledge of the evolution of flood (peak flow and volume) component and an important tool to help making the decision for the management of the dam of XXX and the flood warning at the regional hydrological stations.
To this end, the project focuses on developing an integrated tool for space-based component that allows calculating the different characteristics of the studied basins, importing weather prevision data and running the three hydrological models integrated into the system to generate graphic information and digital output for flood forecasting. Hydrological models developed in the system are based on the rational method runoff coefficient, the statistical method based on the principle of multiple linear regression and finally the conceptual hydrological model HEC-HMS.
The system was developed in ArcGIS Engine environment by providing users with a set of user-friendly interfaces, ergonomic and easy to use while providing them with the basic functionality of GIS for handling alphanumeric data and maps. This solution considered as a tool for decision support designed to make available to managers of water resources integrated software that allows them to predict and estimate the extent of flooding by providing a processing chain Information from the integration of weather forecasts to the display of results and comparisons with quantiles through the estimation of potential flow to be generated by rain provided through various hydrological models.
