Policy questions, On-the-Job training, PRGS and PhD in policy analysis - 3 essays

Please answer each of the following questions. Your responses will help the Admissions Committee to become acquainted with you as an individual and understand your interest in PRGS. Please limit each essay response to a maximum of 1,000 words.

1. What policy question or questions are you most interested in answering while at PRGS? Be sure to explain how these questions relate to your academic and professional experience.

2. On-the-Job Training (OJT) is a significant component of the PRGS degree requirement; we expect all students to seek out and contribute to a variety of projects across multiple research areas. Using the descriptions of RAND Corporation's Research Areas found at: rand.org/research_areas, explain which units sound most intruiging to you, relative to your interests, and how you will utilize your skills and experience to benefit the research teams.

3. What about PRGS and a Ph.D. in policy analysis, specifically, is most appealing to you as a prospective Ph.D. candidate?

I have no clue what PRGS means. And essays should usually be your own work, what do you mean help you fill up the essay? You should probably give responders more to work with. I think this forum mostly offers editting and opinions, generally building on your ideas. We can't do that if there is nothing to build off of :(

I am not asking you to write the essay for me, just give me clues and ideas. Moreover, if you don't know what PRGS is, shut up!

Stuff to fill in the essay? No, the driving force behind an essay should be an idea worth writing about. If you have no idea worth writing about, it is you who should shut up. Come up with an idea first, and then maybe we can help you.

But because you were rude to one of our most active members right here, I am not of a mind to help you until I see you help a few young essayists or English language learners. Maybe you'll redeem yourself!
