With the inundation of big data, how to dig value out of those data becomes important in today's world. Business analytics is the practice of methodical exploration of an organization's data with emphasis on statistical analysis which requires strong analytical capability. As a mathematics major, I am already equipped with strong quantitative and analytical ability. What's more, I am adept at some quantitative tools and basic knowledge of programming languages like SQL, R, and Python. In order to make far-sighted business decisions, I need to learn to utilize the mathematical and programming abilities in business. The MSBA program can make me improve from both knowledge and practice aspects. Hence, choosing MSBA program would be my next logical step.

Professionally, I cherish the chance to learn from qualified professors of prestigious McCombs. I believe that under the instructions from your experienced faculties, I would learn much useful knowledge which can make me competitive in the job market. Moreover, I can gain much practical experience by participating in projects with the outstanding peers. Furthermore, I can acquire valuable work experiences because there are vast job opportunities in Austin. Personally, UT Austin offers the vibrant and progressive campus life I am looking for. I will join in some interesting student organizations on campus to enrich my life. I would also enjoy resources besides the McCombs, like the recreation center and the Texas Performing Arts. Liux, I believe you know how the organize you response. For the first part you talk about the relation of the knowledge and your future goal. For the second part the question is "how", so you are going to talk about many ways developing for the year. I think you can be much more specific. Which professor do you know? Which project are you interested in. Whar kind of job opporunities are you looking forward to, and whar organizartion will you join? BecauseI think many people can think of the aspects you've convered. In order to be different and personal, you may try to be specific.

Jingyi, I hope you won't take this the wrong way but, I believe that your opening statement in this 2 paragraph essay is really unnecessary. You see, there is no need to discuss your academic background in this instance. The prompt is trying to find out if you are really familiar with Texas University, its academics, social offerings, and other learning avenues. So mentioning that you are already a Math major doesn't really fit well with the expected responses. Your second paragraph response, used alone, more or less displays the proper response to the prompt question. There is actually no need for you to present 250 words for this essay if you are unable to do so. However, you should present at least 150 words in order to meet the higher than minimum word requirement for these sorts of essays. So try to discuss more about what you know about the university and what you will enjoy about the learning experience, the student community, or any common interests that you have with the university based upon its motto, mission, or objectives. You can find references to those using a simple keyword search.
