[Poor diet] - Need help with grammar ; Which sentence is correct?
Poor diet and lack of exercise have resulted in a generation who will die younger than their parents.
OR
Poor diet and lack of exercise has resulted in a generation who will die younger than their parents.
Thanks.
I'm 95% sure the second one is correct.
Dear Friend,
If you say so, what are the reasons for your answer?
Thanks
Because has is used with third person singular, and this sentence seems to me to be third person singular. Also 55% of the reason why is because it "sounds" right to me, and I usually trust my instinct. Sorry for being so vague!
