Scholarship / Group work and human resources [2]
(150-300 words)
What I remember the most when reading my parents' dissertation on human resources is how to organize a resource owned to achieve goals. However, I learned more directly in the field when working in groups during a pandemic to work on animation. As a group leader, I needed help managing my team's performance. We worked together on animation for 4 months, from the idea to the execution of drawing the animation. Even though we've only known each other for a month during online lectures, we worked effectively in the first to the second month; we worked on animated scenes regularly every day. Every day I check on how the team is doing and check on the work. But in the third and fourth months, our team started to wear out gradually, and the scene schedule got delayed. So I plan a schedule for regular meetings. We meet online to exchange stories about life in different areas, watch movies together, discuss our favorite anime, and do assignments together, so we both can't wait to be able to meet in person. The closeness was slowly established, and we started to get to know each other making our spirits rise again. Finally, we finished the animation and tried to submit our work to various festivals, which turned out to be in the 70 best scripts of FFACR 2021 and won second place at the ANIMAKINI 2022 animation festival. I realized that strengthening bonds with one another will bring the strength of persistence and togetherness to support each other in achieving goals. Successfully getting through the difficulties of organizing groups during my studies made me more flexible and confident to lead group work.
