Undergraduate / "people who advanced despite nay-sayers" - Describe the world you come from [2]
Hey, this is just the intro of my response. I was curious as to whether or not this response would be too broad compared to telling a story about my family (seems too common) or my experience joining and working with a FIRST team.
Prompt: "Describe the world you come from; for example, your family, clubs, school, community, city, or town. How has that world shaped your dreams and aspirations? (200-250 words)"
The world I come from is filled with people who advanced despite the overwhelming number of nay-sayers, stood firmly with their beliefs against all odds, and ultimately changed the world-people like Thomas Edison, the Wright Brothers, Walt Disney, and Socrates. These types of people inspire me to contribute something to the world.
