Undergraduate / Pediatric Nursing -any tips on writing my first college essay (Vires, Artes, Mores)? [3]
I would start with a basic outline of what you want to say in your essay. Then, provide specific examples of your moral and intellectual strength, the beauty of the intellect needed in your desired field, and the character you posses as a result of your upbringing. What characteristics best exemplify your values and your beliefs? Relate this back to your choice in school, and field.
The best thing to do (for me at least) is to just write a basic draft of what I want to say, then go over it again and revise it until I feel that it flows well and sounds how I would expect it to sound as though a professor had written it. It sounds funny- but if you read it out loud it can help you to catch simple errors and determine if it flows well.
It might not be much help- but at least it is a start!
