That was really good, very persuasive. I was really confused whether we're supposed to persuade our roommates or the university. Then again, it is in the supplement so we should be writing to persuade the university. Did you apply for early decision?

I really enjoyed the rhyme scheme. As for the poem as a whole, it has a lot of potential to become something better. Instead of making it so monotone you could try to introduce more formal writing.
