Common App essay - Uniquely "Un-Asian" [5]
It's a good essay but it's definitely too long. I also had problems with length and was advised to make it a maximum of 600 word long... I think mine was around 550 or so.
and yes, you should change "Asian" to Malaysian

This is the optional essay for UPenn: You have just completed your 300-page autobiography. Please submit page 217.
Am I allowed to submit page 217 of my 300-page autobiography as of right now, or is it a 300-page autobiography of my entire life? In other words, am I supposed to be writing about the past or the future?
