I secretly love Greek mythology ; Barnard Supp [4]
here is my first supplement. Feel free to give any necessary criticism or commentary.
I secretly love Greek mythology. Over the summer of my junior I was watching Clash of the Gods on the History Channel. I noticed Professor Kristina Milnor, passionately correlating the myth to reality. I researched Kristina Milnor. I was surprised by her achievements in academics and her career at Barnard College. To settle my curiosity I researched Barnard. I found out Barnard has values that do not just seek academic exploration, but personal growth. The vast subjects ranging from biophysics, music, to the classics gives me an opportunity to explore different worlds. As I am discovering these subjects, I can share my views with other passionate women. This is so important to me because I believe a college's close community enables ideas to thrive, and to turn into innovative actions. These actions can change the world, and make history. The value of determination, growth, and ambition gives me the motivation to rise up to the challenges that Barnard has to offer to me. Through these challenges I will help me to discover and grow intellectually and personally. Once I create myself, I will be strong enough to make a different in my own community.

Opportunities/Mulan/Personal/Majored in unafraid/ Boaring Community; Barnard [5]
Having attended a co-educational school my entire life, I decided to take a different route for my last year of high school. I surprised myself by opting for an all-girls boarding school in a country I had never been to before. Nevertheless the rewards have been amazing. The support and motivation for success, the active classroom environment and the unrestrained relationship between both teachers and students definitely won me over in terms of my desire to attend a women's college. After spending hours on different websites and in different books, I concluded that Barnard College was a place I desired to be a part of. Its strong sense of community, its student-faculty ratio, its academic rigor as well as its location in a city that is a classroom in itself are all factors that are certain to help me thrive. Hoping to study architecture, I am confident that the liberal arts education offered at Barnard will adequately prepare me and also give me the chance to concurrently explore other fields.
