Ideas for a descriptive essay about 'A busy christmas street market'
I have been set a descriptive essay to write 6 paragraphs about a busy Christmas street market in 3rd person but I am struggling for ideas so could anyone suggest anything?
The structure for the essay should be:
Paragraph 1 - Opening and general description of the scene
Paragraph 2 - Zoom in on a particular aspect of the scene
Paragraph 3 - Build on the general description
Paragraph 4 - Zoom in on a different aspect of the scene
Paragraph 5 - Again, zoom in on another different aspect of the scene
Paragraph 6 - Add in any extra info you forgot and finish it all off
I have started paragraph 1 already so any feedback on that would be greatly appreciated too, Thanks!
A busy Christmas street market
As the Advent season descends upon Vienna once more, festive stalls line the streets and stall holders call and shout to anyone who cares to listen. Intriguing scents of Christmas spices, hot mince pies and mulled wine emanate from open shop fronts and linger in the crisp winter air.
