Graduate / I witness numbers of people being rude or mistreating others - outrages [3]

this is the beginning of my essay so far...
The thing that outrages me the most is when I witness accounts of people being rude or mistreating other people. I have always believed that as the golden rule states, to treat others as you would want them to treat you. Everyone deserves the same amount of respect. I never understood how people treat others just because of a certain criteria is not met. If someone is a different ethnicity, religion, or just has different problems. They all should be treated in the same manner of respect. I come from a background where people are treated differently because you are a woman.
