Undergraduate / "Organized chaos" - Stanford mini essay 250 words: Future roommate [3]
Stanford Essay Prompt:
Virtually all of Stanford's undergraduates live on campus. Write a note to your future roommate that reveals something about you or that will help your roommate -- and us -- know you better. (250 word limit)
Organized chaos is definition of my room. One moment you'll see books scattered randomly on a table, the blanket hanging off the bed like a curtain. But the next, you'll wonder whether room service paid our room a surprise visit. It will be spic and spam.
One moment I will be engrossed in the implications and applications of what I have learned. The next I will be asking u which of life's mysteries we should ponder over a bag of crisps, or which YouTube video we must lampoon over. But no matter what kind of situation arises, I will be the guy with the goofy smile. I try to find enjoyment in whatever I do. And that includes side splitting pranks. Don't be surprised if you get a 'genuine' Valentine's Day candy gram from you crush.
But don't get me wrong- when it comes to food, I am a perfectionist. You shouldn't be surprised to see me mixing dozens of powders in my bolognaise to get just that right taste. If something just doesn't tantalize my taste buds, I won't be afraid to make it known.
One thing I don't discern over is personalities and preferences. No matter how contrasting our views are, I'm sure we will find a way to maintain an atmosphere that is as conducive to working as it is ecstatic and intriguing. What is it that provokes your curiosity? What kind of character are you?
