As a matter of fact Leadership to me is about having an effective role and leading a considerable and beneficial change.
I have always demonstrated a high level of leadership in both academic and professional life, as I am working as an agricultural engineer in the ministry of Agriculture, I have been chosen from my managers to organize the world food day in Country A for the first time.

I did not want this day to be such a routinely day but wanted to raise the awareness about the problems that encounter A food safety and sovereignty like climate change, rising level of sea water, diminishing of farms size and the consequences of political and economic problems that increased the gap between food production and consumption deliver the message of that we have to dedicate all efforts in all level to enhance Egyptian food safety , so I tried to build a bridge between all of this parts and to make it as a starting point for a prosperous collaboration between them.

I started preparation for this day which held at October18th in2017 at faculty of Agriculture A by forming a team of four of my colleagues it was divided into two committees under my leadership: public relation & marketing and advertising committee

I contacted faculties of agriculture and science in mostly of Egyptian Universities and announced for a competition for projects that support food production.
Food and Agricultural Organization(FAO) representatives, INJAZ, AlFadaly, Benaa Organization and a number of businessmen have attended the event and they participated in the judgment comity as well as the presence of media such as BBC Arabic, dmc , and CBC News with the presence of about 800 attendees from students and researchers, all of that happened in parallel due to the lack of time.

Actually, Three projects won in the competition from 15 projects and has been chosen to be funded, many channels of communication between researchers or students and the businessmen or Organizations have been opened, also the challenges related to food safety in A have been highlighted.

Now, we are working on producing the first ministry of Agriculture's Magazine which discuss different actions and tools could be taken or used to regulate and enhance food production and argue about the importance of foundation of a separate food authorization.

In fact the success of this event inspired me and proved that when you have persistence and confidence you could overcome any obstacles and reach your target.

Also, it gave me the chance to prove that women can produce positive change to her community, and play a very influencing role on societies fate, especially for the societies that is masculine dominated, like ours.

In the light of the above-mentioned example, I firmly believe that I have strong leadership skills that enable me to be chosen by Chevening. I am sure such skills along with those obtained in the UK, if accepted, will enable me to produce effective change to my country in the future.

I have always demonstrated a high level of leadership in both academic and professional life
Going back to my years of study in colleague, when I joined my Faculty I was full of dreams and hopes that I will live a scientific life and I would come up with inventions but the real life the education system was very boring and routinely and doesn't support scientific research.

That's why I joined and participated in many scientific activities and events, however this wasn't sufficient and beneficial for me .
Because of that I decided to establish a scientific group or committee which aim to support scientific research and to achieve what I did not find in the academic life and raising the awareness about the importance of scientific thinking and importance of using science in our daily life .

, at the first I presented the idea to my colleagues who were interested in research and we formed a group with 10 members from Faculty of Agriculture and Pharmacy Cairo University and we established scientific magazine and we worked on this magazine to be a source of perception of the real meaning of scientific research and present the recent researches and recent scientific development, and I decided that we will produce this Magazine every term, and we have already released our first copy of the magazine and present it to the college administration the college administration liked the idea but there was insufficient fund for producing a magazine for every student and provide them with a free copies or in low price!

the majority of the team members have been depressed and they left our group.
After that I decided not to depend on the college fund , and I formed another group and I called it SCITA
And I decided to make it separate from the college to not to be restricted to routinely and pyroclastic roles and the first thing we did is that we spend about one year studying and analyze the scientific research field and students situation in Egypt and studying how to market for our idea, and collecting data.

I divided my group to many committee :
Academic members, Public relations, Fund raising and Marketing committee and we started our work by meeting with Professors , researchers and scientific pioneers in Universities and Research Centers who support us also academically beside the self learning.

Besides, making a lot of online surveys that enabled us to determine the reasons for problems of scientific research in Egypt and the best ways to solve it.

Basically, not all the members continued working in the group, it needs patients and too much effort,
