Supporting statement for AAS

a) give up to three practical examples of how you intend to use the knowledge, skills and connections you will gain from your scholarship. Possible tasks can be personal and/or professional;

b) list any possible constraints you think may prevent you from achieving these tasks.*

Firstly, I will use gained knowledge and skills to create an interdisciplinary learning concept for my institution. XYZ collage of health science is consists of three study programs. Such collage is located in coastal areas which every program study through its curriculum takes a part to overcome health problems in there. Unfortunately, every study program runs their program independently. As a consequence, health problems have not resolved comprehensively. Upon my return, I will discuss the possibility of Inter-professional education (IPE) implementation with curriculum developers in my institution. By using knowledge and skills, I will propose an interdisciplinary learning concept to them.

Secondly, as a curriculum specialist I will conduct a research related to IPE. I will focus on how interdisciplinary learning give advantages for students and health problem in Indonesia. In order to promote IPE, I will publish the expected result of some researches in high-quality international journal. However, attracting an editors' attention is quiet hard for scientist from non-English speaking (NES) countries like Indonesia. Some of NES author claimed that write manuscript in English is not easy task for them especially for author with poor and reasonable writing skills. Having study in world class University like Monash University will increase my writing competence through some assessments like written assignment, practicum reflective report, and portfolio.

Lastly, Become International student in this programme with multi cultural students will help me to expand my work in many ways. It will broaden my horizon by discussing recent trend of inter professional education from other countries. Nevertheless, it can be deny that funding will certainly become the challenge to implement IPE program in my institution. The other constraint is lack of enthusiasm toward this program.

I will apply nursing education in Monash University. I have a high interest in education program including curriculum design, learning process, assessment, evaluation and inter-professional education. Education program has drawn my attention since I work in Indramayu collage of health science. I have done several projects and studies related to this topic. In 2017, for instance, I commenced a research about blended learning by using wound care video to increase students' performance in Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE). This research was driven by the fact that Indramayu College of Health Sciences has limited access to provide technology as an educational media for the students. This research is still on going and I am hoping to get the expected results. I gain full support from the chairperson of Indramayu College of Health Sciences who believes that this research would be useful for learning process in our institution. Nursing education in Monash University will provide in-depth learning and advance training to design effective learning method which can be implemented in my institution.

Moreover, Monash University is the only University in Australia which provides Inter-professional Education on its curriculum. I have been interested in interdisciplinary learning since I attended The International conference in Health Sciences last year. It was clearly present how multi-professional education could overcome comprehensively some health problems in Indonesia. However, Indramayu College of Health Science has not implemented inter-professional education yet. Nursing education will equip student with mastery skill of necessary to critically assess and evaluate current trends within their profession with particular reference to inter-professional education. I will discuss about implementation of inter-professional education with vice chairman of Indramayu collage health science who focusing on curriculum design and I will contrive a design of inter-professional education in my institution by using gained knowledge upon my return.
