Various organizations and companies nowadays give meager pay for professional work, while some don't even pay at all. One of the most common ways a lot of for-profit companies exploit free labor is through giving "interns," specifically undergraduate students, billable work and masking it off ass giving the intern experience. While internships can be an essential opportunity for success, they can also be a form of exploitation by employers and organizations. In addition to the low economic growth, practices like this made by companies have unfortunately become way common practice. Not providing proper mentoring to the interns, making them work for the same amount of time as a full-time employee, not even providing them with transportation fees, having them do professional work that is usually paid, this is the experience several interns internationally are facing.
