Studying International Relations in Hungary - Stipendium Hungaricum Motivation Letter [3]
academic motivation letter
Dear Madam/Sir,
with this letter, I would like to express my interest in studying International Relations in Hungary, respectively under Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship wherever I get an opportunity as a Bachelor student.
In his speech at the Make Poverty History in 2005, Nelson Mandela said '' Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity, and a decent life.'' As someone who will become a diplomat and want to improve the poverty in Brazil, I agree with him.
My interest in International Relations grew when I have got my first job. For me, the very fact that almost every aspect of life is based upon negotiation has rendered me to appreciate the field of International Relations and explore it. International Relations is a pivot in our world because it deals with human development, which is easy to remark in history examples of nations, people, and states that have succeeded in replacing the resolution of their problems and differences through diplomacy and dialogue. As an International Relations student, I am able to recognize some issues suffered by the poor population due to their geographic localization or, in some cases, the lack of access to a valuable richness that, in some countries, it represents, simply, not having portable water.
Hungarian has a higher education and an impressive international reputation and diplomas granted by Hungary are accepted all around the world. In addition, most of the diplomats and ambassadors come to Hungary, which will be really good for my career to meet diplomats and foreign affairs ministers.
I have chosen the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme, especially the International Relations course because 1) It is my desire to develop, academically, solutions related to human and 2) I need more experience abroad in order to increase my English skills as well as having the contact of different cultures, which I can understand their points of view.
Therefore, I expect to gain from my studies in Hungary the amount of knowledge needed to become an excellent professional in my area. In order to make it possible, based on my academic background, I can affirm that I am extremely organized, dedicated, proactive, flexible, and most importantly, focused on using these abilities to be successful in this course that I am about to start. I honestly believe that this scholarship will elevate me one step closer to achieve my career dream, which is: to be able to aid as many people as possible.
With the reasons above and beyond, I decided to apply for this scholarship seeking to
acquire admission in Bachelor of International Relations.
Sincerely, XXX
