Completing my undergraduate degree under Math major can help me to prepare to become a proficient data scientist. Cooperating with colleagues to transforming raw data into useful information to predict future trends for different industries. Personally, I have an attachment of the tight logically connected patterns in math, digging out the most efficient method to solve problems. The first thing that drew my interest in waterloo is the theory of Learnability can be Undecidable found by professor Shai Ben-David broke my common sense of the certainty of machine learning tools' learnability. Along with numerous related courses, Waterloo has an entire faculty devoted to Math program, the strong atmosphere of math community will motivate me to thrive. The sound coop system is also unique, With the help from WaterlooWorks to work through six Four-month co-op terms, I can gain practical knowledge and experiences to familiarize myself with the industry and make my resume stand out after graduation.
